The house is the picture-perfect model of suburbia: bright-white siding, slate-gray shingling, a flower garden lining the front of the house, its colorful array of daisies and daffodils and dahlias broken only by the front doorstep, upon which sits an average, suburban boy.
All is quiet now, as such a house ought to be in the middle of the week at nearly the middle of the night, but it had not been quiet earlier
